What a final at Goathill as Back took the first silverware of the season after surviving a late scare against West Side.
When West Side took the lead with a superb shot from Ali 'Barvas' htings looked a little ominous but Back were playing well and the only thing missing was putting the ball in the back of the net. Thankfully Fraser brought us level before half time and minutes before the whistle Murray popped up to put Back into the lead.
Things started bad as a speculative punt from Donnie Smith brought West side level. Undeterred Back surged forward and from a Murray Macleod free kick Fraser somehow put us in front again.
Kevin 'Bloxy' was manof the match material as he skinned two Sireachs at the edge of the box before putting the ball on a plate for Fraser to complete his hat-trick. Johnny Wallace brought West Side back into the game late on before missing the cahnce to equalise in the last minute.
Back held out and were relieved but ecstatic to hear the final whistle.
