Back girls make Coca-Cola 7's finals at tynecastle
The girls from Back School have triumphed in the qualifying stages of the Coca Cola sevens tournament and they will be heading off to Tynecastle Stadium on May 29 for the final.
Since January over 7,500 pupils set off on the road to the final in Scotland's largest schools' football tournament, the Coca-Cola 7's - a seven a-side football competition for U-13 boys and U-14 girls. Seeing off all-comers the Back girls will face their final test when they meet the Lossiemouth High team at the end of next month.
Commenting on standard of play in this year's tournament, Alan Halliday, Regional Director (Scotland) for Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd said: "The level of play throughout the Coca-Cola 7's has been outstanding so all the teams can be justifiably proud of reaching this stage in the tournament."
"For those who have qualified to play at Tynecastle it will certainly be a day to remember."
